Cruz vs. Trump

We believe our nation is headed for giant challenges, and at the same time, our Constitution is being shredded; we detail our concerns below.

Our country needs a president who understands and can handle this situation. Both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz say they can. And both have similar objectives: Build a wall, etc.

So you could say it is a question of style.

Cruz believes that the people can solve these problems. He proved his point when he worked with the conservatives of the House to activate the people to stop amnesty. Trump believes in the Art of the Deal. He sees himself as our savior.

If you want our constitution restored, Ted Cruz has a proven track record. If you want our economy restored, Ted Cruz has a proven track record. If you want our nation secure, Ted Cruz has a proven track record.

To be fair, Trump has a track record of a different sort. He used eminent domain to try and take a widow’s home for a casino parking lot. In 2005, he started Trump University which wasn’t a university at all, just a scam. He mocked his wife while openly discussing his adulterous affair. In summary, as Jonah Goldberg writes, “His instincts are nationalistic and authoritarian, not patriotic and liberty-loving.”

If the people who want their constitutional rights restored will work with a President Cruz, like they did on the amnesty bill, together we can make that happen. A President Cruz will cut a lot of Federal agencies freeing us from the red tape that costs the American consumer over 1.5 Trillion a year. But passing a flat tax will take Congress and our support. More important, Cruz will support law that returns control of the laws from the executive branch to Congress. (Currently, for every page of law that Congress writes, the executive branch writes 800 pages to implement it. Laws that no business can comply with.) As the Federal regulations shrink, our economy expands.

Moreover, as our federal government shrinks, government becomes more manageable. This is critical because restoring our constitutional rights requires we take on our citizen responsibilities. That can only be done with a limited government and citizen involvement.

As Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

You can vote for Clinton or Trump and get a self-proclaimed savior. Who may or may not solve your problems for you. But then you will be stuck looking for a new savior in 4 to 8 years.

Or you can work with Ted Cruz—as many of the other conservative presidential candidates or electeds are choosing to do by endorsing him. These include Gov. Scott Walker, and Carly Fiorina and conservative governors like South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. With a whole new generation of conservatives throughout our country to help this next generation restore our rights, we won’t need to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

So now you have a decision to make. APCPAC can’t endorse either candidate; we’re not a Federal PAC. So it is up to you. Do you need a savior or a servant for president? As California goes, so goes the country.  So whatever you decide, send this link to as many Californians as you can. At least they will know the key issues and the alternatives.


Our Nation Faces Giant Challenges And Our Constitution Is Being Shredded

On October 10, 2015, Iran tested an ICBM in violation of UN resolutions. If that ICBM carried a nuclear payload over the Chicago/New York area its detonation would send out an electro-magnetic pulse that will take out our computers. If enough computers which regulate our energy grid go down, a blackout will occur.  The stock market, the options market and the commodity market will close, making the sale of food, fuel and everything else very slow and difficult.

As this blackout occurs a domino effect will overload the substations, actually burning out the equipment. Unfortunately, there is no back-up equipment; and without electricity, replacing them might take years. (See Bill Whittle for details.)

In addition our country has a $220 trillion unfunded liability along with a $19 trillion debt.  Just to put this into perspective, that is more debt than the entire net worth of the planet. With nearly half of US citizens on welfare, what will these citizens do when the economy collapses?  We believe that, rather than starve or live on the streets, they will riot.

Our Constitution is in shreds—the citizens in many states are barely able to carry a weapon for self-protection. Our right to freedom of religion is only guaranteed when our religion is politically correct or government-approved. Our right to private property can be lost should the government decide your property was used for narcotics or terrorist activity, or for any number of other reasons. Without any money you have to find a way to hire a lawyer to get it back. Your home can be taken by eminent domain and given to someone else to use for his business.  We could go on, but this appears to have documented that our Constitution is in shreds.

So the next president need pay no attention to the Constitution and can arrest whomever he or she wants by declaring them terrorists. We would be amiss if we did not mention the power brokers who have been pushing us to the brink of disaster. Cruz calls them the Washington Cartel.
